General description

This software analyzes images of cell colonies that emit a luminescent/fluorescent signal (from here on generalized as “luminescent"), in the form of a luminescent halo around the colony. CFQuant automatically identifies both the colonies and their emitted luminescent halos and returns quantitative data on features such as area, pixel sum, etc. CFQuant can either analyze one image at a time, allowing the user to check his results and correct possible errors, or perform batch processing, where multiple images are analyzed with no user interaction.
